(10 points!)Have the native Americans from the Southern part of Canada and united states ?

The eskimoes/inuit or vice versa?

Natives in Canada are not native Americans – they aren’t Americans at all; they are Canadians.

In Canada, the North West Territories was divided into to: one part, still called the NWT, is roughly below the tree line, and is where "Indians" live. The other part, above the tree line, became Nunavut, and is where the Inuit live. Along this line, both peoples do meet each other.

This is the traditional homelands, but, these days, people can move where they like.My community is 1/3 native, but there is at least one Inuit women that I know of living here.Inuvik, NWT, has Inuit, native (mostly Gwitch’in), and white people.

My Ex was Gwitch’in, with an Inuit grandmother, and she travelled to native conferences all over North America.

Short answer: yes.

"Eskimo" is a derogatory term- isn’t really used anymore.Let’s see, I’m Navajo, which is southern US, and yes, I’ve met the Inuit, when I was in College I spent a summer up in Alaska. So yeah, I met them.

Why? Have you?

In modern times, yes we have. Here in Canada, we collaborate on some of the things we would like to see from the Federal government.

I met an Inuit lady while in hospital. We shared a room.Nice lady.

What..?

…The southern part of Canada isn’t near the southern part of the US… Am I missing something?

What? I don’t understand, please be more specific. If you are asking what I think you are, you sound like a stupid, ignorant a$$

i would think so.

huh?
